Ignite Your Passion for the Arts
An exciting array of theater, symphony, art exhibits and cultural programs makes Gainesville and Hall County a cultural haven. The Gainesville Symphony Orchestra presents four concerts each season, including the July 3rd “Patriotic Pops Concert,” one of the summer’s can’t–miss celebrations. Area residents enjoy three to four weekend concerts as part of The Gainesville Chorale’s season, along with its annual presentation of the Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah. And, the Gainesville Ballet Company stages an annual performance season that attracts fans of all ages.
The Gainesville Theatre Alliance is a cooperative venture joining the theatre programs of Gainesville College, Brenau University, a professional company and the community. The Northeast Georgia History Center displays historical artifacts from the area from over the past 150 years.
The Quinlan Visual Arts Center helps you create your own masterpieces with art classes and workshops, while the galleries of the Quinlan Arts Center are dedicated to monthly exhibitions of local, regional and international artists. Both Gainesville College and Brenau University have substantial arts programs and galleries.
